The Grandpa mug
This 9cm high by 8.5cm diatmetre mug had eucalyptus leaves impressed on the clay, and then the impressions painted with underglaze paint. The inside is glazed white, the outside with a glaze called 'teahouse' which is kind of greyish-greenish- brownish, but it really depends on your light! This mugs holds a bit over 300mls, so make a lovely size cuppa. The handle is very comfortable to hold (and does remind me of my grandpa's ears... hence the name ;) )
