My name is Carly, I’ve always enjoyed arty and crafty endeavours and experimenting with different materials.

As a kindergarten teacher for a large part of my life, creating an environment where children can be creative and have the time, space and materials to think, imagine and problem solve has always been something that’s important to me. (Or… it might have just been an excuse to hold onto those cardboard boxes, ribbons, and doodads that will come in handy one day!) Pottery has given me the opportunity to combine a whole heap of my different interests and has also been pretty good for practicing problem solving and creative thinking (and using some of those doodads I’d saved!). I have often have a 100 ideas of where I want to go and what I want to do, so I’d like this to grow from here, but for now, it’s just pottery.

Everything here is one of a kind and handmade. The #smudgeandasmear and the imperfections are part of the charm and often left quite intentionally. I’m new to this whole selling thing, so do appreciate your patience as I work out how this all works, and please let me know if there’s any problems along the way.
